Hilton Coachworks partner with Stratstone
Hilton Coachworks, the leading automotive body shop repair specialist, has partnered with leading dealer group Stratstones, further strengthening its position as the UK’s largest independent, manufacturer approved body shop. The deal coincides with Hilton Coachworks celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Hilton Coachworks will initially support Stratstone’s new Mercedes-Benz Lakeside, Southend, Chelmsford Colchester and Ipswich sites with all their bodywork and repair needs.
Stratstones joins Hilton Coachworks’ already enviable roster of partners which includes Motus, Group 1 Automotive, L&L Group, Vindis Group and Lookers.
For all partnerships, the Hilton Coachworks team is fully integrated into a business processes, offering the dealer’s valued customers a seamless repair service from start to finish.
Hilton Coachworks, which operates out of a sprawling 3.5 acre state of the art facility, now serves over 50 dealerships in the south east and beyond, offering OEM-grade bodywork repairs – carried out to the exacting manufacturer factory standards. The firm is a manufacturer approved body shop for a range of premium brands including Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Audi and Jaguar Land Rover. Hilton Coachworks is also the sole approved body shop for Tesla in the South East of England – and is widely regarded as a leader in the repairs of Electric Vehicles.
The latest series of wins underline Hilton Coachworks’ enduring reputation for consistent, market-leading excellence in the field of bodywork repairs. Partners are given total confidence in the quality, and consistency of repair jobs.

All work is undertaken in a controlled environment, under one roof, at the Hilton Coachworks’ state of the art, 3.5 acre facility. The impressive site includes a body shop, with six paint booths with the capacity to repair over 400 cars under the business’ roof at any one time, with a further customer courtesy car fleet of 90 cars. The site even includes a classic car repair centre - for getting cherished icons of yesteryear back on the road.
All repairs are carried out by Hilton Coachworks’s expert, exhaustively trained staff, who are always kept fully up to date on each manufacturer’s latest requirements. Hilton Coachworks staff are given regular technical trainings from OEMs on the latest models – the same tutorials in-house OEM staff would receive. There are also frequent audits carried out by manufacturers, to make sure all repair work is up to their exacting standards.
